Steam bending wood is an ancient technique which allows wood to be manipulated physically using its natural inherent properties with only the addition of basic elements; water, heat and the human hand.

Over the last number of years the studio has developed steam bending techniques for making vessels and surfaces;. The Vinculum Shelf is made from a single piece of Irish Oak.
