Steam bending wood is an ancient technique which allows wood to be manipulated physically using its natural inherent properties with only the addition of basic elements; water, heat and the human hand.

The studio has developed steam bending techniques for making vessels and surfaces; namely shelves and tables. These experiments have culminated in this large scale table which merges structure and surface into a refined composition.
